Our Counselors

Kim earned her Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Studies from Regent University. It was during one of her classes there that she recognized the need for faith-based mental health resources and programs to support those in distress. She wrote her master’s thesis on the failure of the church to meet the needs of those suffering from mental health issues.

Kim is certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors. She is ordained by Global Outreach Ministries. Presently, Kim is pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Christian Counseling. She feels blessed to be able to walk alongside suffering people and offer them hope and encouragement. She also facilitates a faith-based support group, Shelter in the Storm, at Lighthouse.
